I started working with Padma during the first month of my second pregnancy.  My 37 year old back was not really happy about being pregnant and I was truly terrified I would be in excruciating pain for 9 solid months.  Padma immediately put my mind at ease, shared some of her own struggles with back pain, and started me on a path of self-discovery.

She started with a lot of hands-on body work that helped ease my pain and stress both physically and emotionally.  After my acute pain dissipated, we moved into yoga breathing, stretching, back strengthening, and my favorite- calming of the mind. I made it through that time with no pain and had a much easier recovery than with my first child. 

Padma has become a close friend and confidant and I am inspired by her strength and intuition.  She is a truly caring person and in my belief has been put on this earth to heal and to teach others how to heal themselves.  I will be forever in her debt.

I was unable not flexible and had poor balance after years of being sick and bilateral knee replacements.  Yoga was something I had always wanted to try.  However,I was not sure that I would be able to do yoga since much of it is bending the knees far behind you.  But, I decided to try individual yoga sessions with an instructor named Padma.  She had come highly recommended, still I still had my doubts.  During my first session with Padma I explained my limitations and asked if I would be able to do the yoga positions. Her response was quick.  "All yoga positions can be modified to accomadate an individual.

After a half year of yoga, I am now more flexible than ever and have gotten a lot of my balance back.  Before she tries a position with me, she tries it at home pretending that she has the same leg limitations as I do.  The positions that I am able to do are phenomenal.  I can not recommend her highly enough.  I am not very eloquent, but if you are thinking of yoga, please call Padma first.

Four months of doctor visits, physical therapy, testing, cortisone shot did nothing to reduce the pain I was experiencing in my hip from a car accident.  The only options the doctor left me with were: live with the pain or have surgery with no guarantee of relief.  Neither option left me with any hope. Someone suggested that I should contact Padma.  I was nervous and did not have much faith, but did try to keep an open mind.  My first visit included an overall assessment , and then slow work to begin the process.  After the first session - there was no relief from the pain - but for the first time I had a relaxed feeling in me that brought a feeling of hope. As I continued to see Padma the pain began to subside, and I noticed I had greater range of movement again.  With each session I had a feeling of peace and relaxation that stayed with me all day.  Padma continued to work with me on all levels.  Without even noticing it I shifted to a healthier lifestyle, and was more mindful of my choices.  Friends and co-workers began to notice a visible change: weight loss, no longer limping from the pain, and an overall sense of peace that resonated from within.  I have to come to love the work and the deep relaxation I experience during and after each session.  I cannot imagine life without Padma Therapy.

There is no way to explain how much I appreciated your last email that you sent me.  Everything you wrote touched my heart so dearly and truly has been the key to my strength and ability to keep my head held high.  This morning I wasn't feeling very grounded and positive in my thoughts when I woke up and I thought of you and what you would do in the situation, or rather what you would suggest I do.  Thus, I sat down for 20 minutes and just worked on my breathing exercises.  Already I notice what a dramatic difference in my mental and emotional state that this creates.  I've decided that this needs to become part of a morning routine for me, some time that I set aside for myself to collect myself, clear my thoughts, and begin each day being happy and blissful.  You are the person for whom I credit all of my yearnings for positive energy and will continue to think of you as I try to incorporate more and more yoga into my day.

I came to Padma because I had neck problems and was hoping to get relief from the stiffness and pain. She has helped me in this regard and I have generally become more flexible and able to move my neck and body more freely.

But, I have received so much more from her! She has taught me that breathing correctly is the key to living well and fully. It is the key to relaxation and calmness, health and well-being. The breathing exercises that she taught have opened the way to energizing and spiritualizing my morning routine.

As a bonus, every session with Padma and her intuitive powers has opened a new path for me in dealing with my problems and issues. Opening my mind and my body to new ways of dealing with life has been and will continue to be the "Padma path" that I will take.
